The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has leveraged robotic inspection technology to streamline sewer and underground inferior management, avoiding excavation astatine 38 sites and redeeming respective lakhs successful repair costs. 

Since its motorboat connected November 12, the inaugural has allowed BWSSB engineers to accurately observe underground issues without resorting to accepted digging. During this period, 75 work requests were reported, with 67 addressed. Robotic inspections revealed implicit 93 issues, including blockages, structural defects, and interior damages, problems that would person otherwise required repeated trial-and-error excavation.  

The technology has chopped costs and reduced nationalist inconvenience. The inaugural spared radical from long roadworthy closures, postulation snarls, dust, noise, and restricted entree that usually accompany excavation-based repairs and besides enhanced idiosyncratic information by limiting manual introduction into confined underground spaces.

BWSSB Chairman V. Ram Prasath Manohar said that they program to grow the usage of robotic inspections crossed much zones to further amended effect times, chopped costs, and minimise nationalist inconvenience.
