Unorganised workers demand scrapping labour codes, 3% of budget for welfare measures

The Unorganised Workers’ Federation connected Friday demanded the withdrawal of the 4 labour codes, the allocation of 3% of authorities budgets for the societal information of informal workers, and the enlargement of payment measures, astatine a May Day gathering held adjacent the Labour Statue here.

The federation — which comprises commercialized unions representing workers crossed the unorganised assemblage — called for the extortion of workers’ rights, strengthening of payment boards, and enlargement of societal information measures.
