The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has waived each charges for the mandatory biometric updates of children aged 7 to 15, a determination that is expected to payment astir six crore minors.

“The archetypal and 2nd MBUs, if performed betwixt 5-7 and 15-17 years of property respectively, are frankincense escaped of cost. Thereafter, a prescribed interest of ₹125 per MBU is charged.
