The United States attacked and seized an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel it said had tried to evade its naval blockade adjacent the Strait of Hormuz connected Sunday (April 19, 2026), and Iran's associated subject bid vowed to respond, throwing a fragile ceasefire into question days earlier it expires.
