A U.S. ‍military destroyer has ​docked successful the ‌port of ​Eilat, Israel’s ynet news website reported connected Friday (January 30, 2026), citing the military, arsenic hostility ​between Washington and Iran ⁠heighten.

The quality website said the destroyer’s ​arrival ⁠at the confederate port, connected the Gulf of Aqaba ‌and adjacent ‌Israel’s confederate borderline crossings with Egypt ‍and Jordan, was pre-planned and ‍part of practice betwixt the Israeli and U.S. militaries.

The U.S. navy and Israeli subject ⁠did not instantly respond to a ​Reuters petition for ⁠comment.
