The Forest Department has imposed a good of ₹5,000 each on 2 youths for illegally entering a restricted wood zone near Varattupallam dam viewpoint under the Anthiyur wood range in the territory and uploading photos and videos connected societal media.
Officials said that nationalist introduction has been banned successful the wood area for information and conservation reasons. However, a fewer days ago, the youths trespassed into the restricted zone, recorded photos and videos, and later uploaded them connected societal media. The video soon went viral, prompting a departmental probe.
