The Vidhana Soudha constabulary connected Thursday arrested 2 youths for allegedly attacking policemen connected work aft they were confronted for misbehaving with a radical of women adjacent Balekundri Circle successful the aboriginal hours of January 1.
According to the police, the incidental occurred astir 1.40 a.m. erstwhile the accused, identified arsenic Ansh Mehta and Parv Rathi, some 22, behaved inappropriately with women who were waiting for a cab. The women past alerted the police.
Ravi K., constable, was deployed for bandobast work during the New Year celebrations and was connected nighttime patrol. He confronted the accused, but they allegedly picked a quarrel with him pursuing which the constable sought reinforcements.
