Chennai City Police (clarification sought from reporter) arrested 2 men for breaching Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi’s convoy connected Sunday (February 8, 2026) nighttime portion attempting to dodge a constabulary checkpoint.
The incidental occurred erstwhile Mr. Ravi was returning to Lok Bhavan aft attending a wedding reception successful Thiruvanmiyur. The accused, Anburaj (22) and Jeeva (22), riding a motorcycle, entered the convoy adjacent the Adyar Cancer Institute, bypassing information vehicles.
