Two para swimmers from Belagavi person won prizes astatine an planetary event.
Shridhar Malagi and Sahil Jadhav won respective medals astatine the Reykjavik International Games held successful Iceland recently.
Shridhar Malagi won a golden medal successful 50 metre bosom stroke, metallic successful 50 metre butterfly, 400 metre freestyle and 100 metre freestyle. He won bronze medals successful 50 metre freestyle , 100 metre backstroke and 100 metre butterfly.
Sahil Jadhav won a metallic medal successful 50 metre backstroke and bronze medal successful 200 metre idiosyncratic medley. He stood 4th successful 3 different events and 5th successful one. They are students of Swimmers’ Club and Aquarius aquatics club, and they were sponsored by Polyhydron foundation. They acquisition grooming astatine the Suvarna JNMC Swimming Pool.
