Two persons were arrested by the Medipally constabulary connected Saturday, February 14, 2026, successful transportation with a robbery.
The accused were identified arsenic Battini Ravin, 21, a nonmigratory of Ramanthapur and autochthonal of Karimnagar, and Guntipally Raghu, 19, besides a nonmigratory of Ramanthapur and autochthonal of Yadagirigutta.
According to the police, the incidental was reported connected February 12 astatine astir 9.45 p.m. erstwhile the complainant, aft closing her shop, was walking towards her location astatine Panchavati Colony carrying 3 bags. At Kranthi Colony, the accused approached her connected a two-wheeler, snatched the bags containing a golden chain, a mobile phone, cash, ATM card, PAN paper and Aadhaar card, and fled the scene.
A lawsuit was registered by Medipally constabulary and peculiar teams comprising officials from Uppal Central Crime Station (CCS) were formed to hint the offenders. Based connected method evidence, investigation of CCTV footage and section quality inputs, the accused were identified and apprehended.
Police seized 2 mobile phones, 2 two-wheelers and the stolen PAN card, Aadhaar card, elector ID paper and a leather bag.
