Two persons were killed aft a pick-up van rammed into a stationary motortruck adjacent Vagaikulm connected Friday.
Police said the deceased were identified arsenic T. Dhanush, 24 and P. Mariappan, 21, some from Krishnagiri district. On Thursday night, the duo had loaded flowers from Rayakottai successful Krishnagiri territory to Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi. After unloading the consignment successful Tirunelveli, they were travelling to Thoothukudi.
On Friday morning, erstwhile they reached a Petrol filling presumption adjacent Vagaikulam, the pick-up van crashed into the rear broadside of the motortruck that was parked on the roadside. In the impact, some Dhanush and Mariappan died connected the spot.
