Two girls, aged 9 and 4, were crushed to decease aft an robust gate and the pillar collapsed connected them erstwhile they were playing astatine the entranceway of the location of 1 of them at Konkalapuram in Virudhunagar territory connected Saturday.
Police said the girls were identified arsenic R. Kamalika, 9, from Konkalapuram and her relative Rishika, 4, from Sankarankovil.
As the incidental occurred astatine the location owned by Kamalika’s parents Rajamani and Rajeswari, the bystanders and the household members managed to propulsion the girls from nether the collapsed gate.
