Police arrested 2 persons of a three-member pack for their alleged engagement successful stealing cars, successful Nellore connected Monday. While 2 of them were arrested, hunt is connected for the main accused. The constabulary seized 5 cars worthy astir ₹1.20 crore from the accused.

Revealing the lawsuit details to the media connected Monday, Superintendent of Police (SP) Ajitha Vejendla said, “Dargamitta constabulary arrested a pack progressive successful stealing cars from different States and bringing them to Nellore and surrounding areas for sale.”

A peculiar squad was formed comprising Dargamitta Circle Inspector and staff. During a conveyance inspection astatine Annamayya Circle, the constabulary detained 2 persons – Thupili Siva from Nellore Town and Paravastu Lakshman Kumar from Atmakur - connected suspicion, and conducted an interrogation.

According to the police, the main accused on with his associates, committed car thefts successful Delhi, Maharashtra, and Haryana and brought the stolen vehicles to Nellore. They changed the archetypal fig plates, fixed Andhra Pradesh and Telangana registration numbers, and sold them present with fake documents, constabulary added.
