Two persons progressive successful manufacturing illicit liquor were arrested by the Shamshabad District Task Force (DTF) of the Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department connected Thursday (October 9, 2025). The officials seized 10 litres of illicit (country-made) liquor on with instrumentality utilized for its manufacture during a raid successful Dhoolpet.
The accused, identified arsenic Radhika Bai and Shankar, were allegedly supplying the liquor to section sellers, including Kishan Singh and Rekha Bai, who were making profits by reselling it.
Following a tip-off, DTF Circle Inspector Praveen Kumar recovered that the illicit liquor was being produced successful Dhoolpet and sold astatine ₹400 per litre successful Nanakramguda.
The arrested duo was handed implicit to the Serlingampally excise presumption for further investigation.
