Two alumni of Forest College and Research Institute-Mettupalayam selected for IFS

Two alumni of the Forest College and Research Institute-Mettupalayam person cleared the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

According to a release, P. Kaviya from Coimbatore territory of the 2018–2022 batch secured All India Rank 64, portion K. Kalaipriyan from Kallipatti colony successful Dharmapuri territory of the 2014–2018 batch secured All India Rank 71.

The merchandise stated that the Forest College and Research Institute-Mettupalayam has produced 120 Indian Forest Service officers since its constitution successful 1985.

The candidates attributed their occurrence to the forestry curriculum, guidance from module members and enactment from elder alumni of the institution, the merchandise added.

Principal of the institute Dr. A. Balasubramaniam felicitated the 2 alumni during an alumni conscionable held connected May 9.
