TVK wins Perambalur seat, DMK Kunnam

The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) and the DMK won from the Perambalur (reserved) and the Kunnam Assembly constituencies successful Perambalur district.

DMK Minister and MLA of Kunnam Assembly constituency S. S. Sivasankar defeated A. Saranya ( AIADMK) by a borderline of 15,557 votes. Mr. Sivasankar polled 87, 237 votes portion the votes polled successful favour of Saranya was 71,680. The TVK campaigner Revathi Muthamilselvan came 3rd bagging 59,170 votes.
