K. Subrahmaniyan, Director of Tamil Nadu Rice Research Institute (TRRI), Aduthurai, has been conferred the Indian Society of Agronomy (ISA) Gold Medal, the highest honour awarded by the 70-year-old nonrecreational assemblage of agronomists.

Founded successful 1955, the Indian Society of Agronomy is 1 of the country’s largest platforms for cultivation scientists, promoting research, technological exchange, and designation done fellowships and awards. The ISA Gold Medal is presented to agronomists who person made exceptional nationalist and planetary contributions successful probe and exertion development.
