Tourism Minister Durgesh urges Centre to allocate more projects to Andhra Pradesh

Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh connected Wednesday said Andhra Pradesh was apt to get much tourism projects soon, arsenic the Centre responded favourably to his plea to make Tirupati and Visakhapatnam arsenic world-class tourer destinations.

On the 2nd time of the gathering with Tourism Ministers of each States and Union Territories astatine Udaipur, Mr. Durgesh presented Andhra Pradesh’s proposals to Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and requested for authorisation of a culinary institute successful Tirupati, Tourism Bhavan successful Amaravati, and National School of Drama successful Rajamahendravaram.

Mr. Durgesh said the Union Minister positively responded to his request, and praised Andhra Pradesh’s tourism policy.

Expressing gratitude to the Union Government for supporting A.P.’s tourism improvement done assorted schemes, helium requested the Centre’s continued support.

Later, Mr. Durgesh, on with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Managing Director Amrapali Kata, met the Union Minister separately, and reiterated his plea for the Centre’s practice successful improvement of tourism assemblage successful Andhra Pradesh.
