TMB Foundation successful concern with M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), conducted a high-level stakeholder consultation gathering here, arsenic portion of the task “Empowering Small-Scale Fishers done an Integrated Village Development Approach for Sustainable Livelihood Enhancement.”

The task aims to fortify the coastal communities of Keela Vaippar and Pattinamarudhur successful Thoothukudi district.

At the seminar, the discussions centred connected cardinal coastal livelihood challenges, including entree to entitlements, insurance, fiscal services, marketplace linkages, payment schemes, livelihood diversification, vocation opportunities, sanitation and dedicated selling abstraction for assemblage based products.

At the event, S. Velvizhi, country manager of fisheries and livelihoods, MSSRF emphasised the integrated quality of the project, which combines livelihood enhancement, payment access, marketplace development, infrastructure strengthening and organization enactment to make sustainable impact.

M. Muthiah, CEO, TMB Foundation highlighted the relation of organization collaboration successful achieving sustainable coastal development. Outlining different ongoing initiatives by the foundation, helium reaffirmed TMB Foundation’s committedness to integrated assemblage improvement crossed confederate districts.

R. Ishwarya, Additional Collector (development) lauded the initiative, arsenic it builds beardown consciousness among the coastal communities.
