Tiruchi Cyber Crime constabulary connected Friday nighttime arrested 3 persons connected charges of defrauding the nationalist connected the pretext of providing loans.
The constabulary identified the accused arsenic S. Srinivasan, 43, G. Kavitha, 33, and J. Ganapathy, 43 — each hailing from Tiruppur district.
According to a property statement, the scamsters, who ran a fraudulent concern company, Capital Finance – Loan, had collected papers and exertion fees to the tune of ₹1 lakh from W. Arokiyasamy, 54, from Lalgudi, nether the pretext of arranging loans for ₹3 lakh. When neither the promised indebtedness nor the wealth paid was returned, Mr. Arokiyasamy lodged a ailment with the Cyber Crime police.
A peculiar squad was formed, and they traced the accused to Tiruppur and arrested them. The constabulary seized 10 mobile phones, a laptop, a modem, 10 SIM cards, and slope passbooks from them.
A lawsuit was registered against the 3 persons nether Sections 318(4), 336(2), 336(3), 340(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 66C, 66D, and 84B of the Information Technology Act.
