Tiruchi Collector launches awareness campaign against drug addiction among drivers

Collector V. Saravanan connected Friday launched the consciousness programme against substance maltreatment among the drivers of the State-owned corp and backstage buses, autorickshaw drivers, and others.

As portion of the initiative, Mr. Saravanan, accompanied by Commissioner of Police N. Kamini, distributed stickers to the drivers astatine Kalaigner Karunanidhi Integrated Bus Terminus successful Panjapur. The stickers were pasted connected the buses and autorickshaws prominently to disseminate the consciousness against cause addiction and bringing down the accidents caused by drinking and driving.

The Collector and the Commissioner distributed pamphlets prepared by the Regional Transport authorities connected harmless driving and disciplined driving among the people.
