Basavani Vijay Dev, president of Sahyadri Multipurpose Arecanut Growers’ Marketing Cooperative Society, has alleged that the authorities of Karnataka ordered an enquiry into 3 Tirthahalli-based co-operative societies based connected misleading and mendacious information.
The Department of Co-operation precocious ordered inquiries into 3 societies – Sharavathi Credit Co-operative Society, Samruddhi Horticulture Produce and Sale Co-operative Society, and Sahyadri Multi-Purpose Arecanut Growers’ Marketing Co-operative Society. The inquiries were ordered pursuing directions from the Chief Minister’s office, based connected complaints filed by a fewer shareholders.
