The Pradyot Debbarma-led Tipra Motha Party (TMP) connected Friday (April 17, 2026) registered a landslide triumph successful the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) polls, winning 20 of the 28 seats, according to the State Election Commission (SEC).

The 2nd consecutive triumph for the enactment floated successful 2020 by the erstwhile royal scion, with the request for a 'Greater Tipraland', showed its dominance among the State's tribal community. The BJP won 3 seats, portion counting successful 5 constituencies is underway, according to the SEC.
