Thrissur District Collector Arjun Pandian has been awarded the Best District Collector Award nether the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) strategy for 2024-25, instituted by the Women and Child Development Department. The grant recognises outstanding work delivery, innovative interventions, and coordinated efforts by the territory medication and the territory helping of the department.
Thrissur and Wayanad districts jointly secured the apical honour successful the collector category. The grant acknowledges sustained initiatives to fortify anganwadi infrastructure, amended work delivery, and guarantee inclusive improvement for women and children.
A large absorption country was securing onshore and basal facilities for anganwadis. The territory medication successfully ensured onshore for astir 18 anganwadis and brought procedures for much than 50 centres to the last stage.
