Three of family killed in road accident

A roadworthy mishap adjacent Kombuthi Road Junction adjacent present connected Saturday claimed the lives of 3 of a family, including a young couple.

The victims person been identified arsenic Ladasamy, 60, of Puliyampatti, his girl Panchavarnam, 25, and her hubby Pullani, 30. The mates were residing successful Devipattinam.

The trio were travelling connected a two-wheeler from Thiruppullani towards Ervadi.

When Ladasamy attempted to transverse the road other a substance station, conscionable 100 metres up of Kombuthi Road turnoff, a car proceeding from Ervadi Dargah towards Kilakarai, deed the two-wheeler.

On receiving information, Ervadi Dargah constabulary rushed to the spot. The bodies of the deceased were sent to Government Ramanathapuram Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

The constabulary person registered a lawsuit against the car driver, Mansoor Ali, 40, from Gundlupet, Karnataka, and are investigating further.
