Three juveniles were apprehended connected charges of morphing photographs of a 15-year-old schoolgirl, blackmailing her, and yet forcing her into sharing backstage videos of herself earlier sending them to her begetter to request a ransom of ₹10 lakh. The minors were picked up by officials from the All Women Police Station successful Krishnagiri and sent to the Observation Home successful Salem.
One of the 3 apprehended younker was the neighbour of the schoolgirl. He was a Class 9 pupil who had dropped retired of schoolhouse for implicit six months. According to the police, helium had 2 different boys visiting his house. Over time, the trio decided to stalk the girl’s societal media accounts. They created a fake relationship and sent a travel petition connected Instagram. They downloaded her images from her illustration and had them morphed into unrelated obscene photos.
With those images, the trio blackmailed the miss into sharing backstage photos and videos. The constabulary said that fearing humiliation, the miss did what she was asked to do. The 3 boys aboriginal shared these videos and photos with her begetter connected WhatsApp and demanded a ransom of ₹10 lakh to halt the circulation of the videos, said a constabulary source. The fig was traced to the neighbour, who was the main perpetrator.
The girl’s begetter approached the All Women Police Station and lodged a complaint. The constabulary traced the trio, and they were apprehended and sent to the juvenile location successful Salem.
