Three persons, including 2 assemblage students, died connected the spot aft a two-wheeler collided with a beverage van connected the Jalagandapuram–Vanavasi Road present connected Friday nighttime (January 9, 2026).
The deceased were identified arsenic Sanjay Bharathi (20) of Irupali colony adjacent Edappadi, a second-year assemblage student, Mohan (20), a third-year pupil from the aforesaid colony and Vimalraj (20) of Mecheri.
Police said Sanjay and Mohan were travelling connected a two-wheeler on the Nangavalli–Edappadi Road. When they were nearing Papathikadu, a beverage van coming from the Jalagandapuram–Nangavalli absorption collided with the two-wheeler.
