Three held for repackaging, selling expired food in Delhi’s Dwarka

“The Delhi constabulary person busted a racket involving repackaging and merchantability of expired nutrient and beverage products successful Dwarka’s Sector 28 and arrested 3 persons,” officials said connected Friday (April 3, 2026).

They said officials of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) were called to the spot to verify the firm’s licences and cod samples. After inspection, the nutrient products bearing forged batch numbers and expiry dates were seized. These included 3,096 brushed portion cans and a sizeable quantity of biscuits of multinational brands whose packaging was altered. Following the raid, the constabulary arrested 3 men, identified arsenic Kamal Mudgil, Shivam Singh and Lokesh Kumar.
