Three men posing arsenic Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) officials person been arrested for moving an inter-State cyber fraud racket that duped dozens of people, including a retired Army officer, done malicious mobile applications, the Delhi constabulary said connected Wednesday.
The fraud came to airy aft the retired 61-year-old Army serviceman reported losing ₹91,449 to fraudsters who posed arsenic IGL representatives and persuaded him to instal a malicious application, which gave them entree to his banking information.
The accused, arrested from West Bengal, were identified arsenic Bickey Mandal, 22, Sumit Kumar Singh, 26, and 22-year-old Rajeev Kumar Mandal, the constabulary said, adding that further probe is nether mode to analyse the integer trail.
