Three-day workshop on wildlife conservation begins in Coimbatore

A three-day store connected wildlife conservation for Class I/Group A officers organised by Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (Sacon) commenced successful Coimbatore connected Wednesday.

V. Thirunavukarasu, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Principal of the Central Academy for State Forest Service, inaugurated the workshop. He emphasized the value of ineligible frameworks and the relation of administrative officers successful effectual implementation of wildlife laws.

Organisers said that the workshop, which is attended by Class I/Group A officers from assorted non-forest enactment departments, aims to reenforce inter-departmental coordination and informed decision-making for wildlife conservation beyond forests.

The workshop, which Sacon organises nether the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, includes lectures by experts, interactive sessions and tract visits.
