Three arrested for ‘stealing’ ornaments from temple in Nandyal district

The Chagalmarri constabulary arrested 3 persons, including a clergyman and retired enforcement serviceman of the Endowments Department, for allegedly stealing ornaments from Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple astatine Madduru colony successful Nandyal district. Police probe revealed that temple clergyman Mamidi Krishna Kishore of Allagadda municipality and erstwhile temple enforcement serviceman Bhagavatham Venkata Narsayya allegedly colluded and stole the archetypal ornaments and sold them to a golden and metallic trader, Dudekula Pedda Husenayya. They reportedly replaced the existent ornaments with duplicate ones.

Police said the accused were arrested adjacent Kashireddy Nayana Ashram, connected mode to Kotakandukuru colony successful Allagadda mandal. The SP appreciated Allagadda DSP Pramod, and his squad of officials for successfully detecting the lawsuit and recovering the stolen ornaments wrong a week.
