Thalassery International Film Festival concludes

The Thalassery International Film Festival, organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy and held astatine the Liberty Theatre complex, successfully concluded aft 4 days, showcasing satellite cinema connected Sunday (October 19).

The closing ceremonial was inaugurated by Minister O.R. Kelu and attended by notable dignitaries, including Speaker A.N. Shamseer, who honoured nationalist award-winning histrion Vijayaraghavan. The festival featured 55 outstanding planetary films, alongside an accumulation commemorating Malayalam literate and cinematic fable M.T. Vasudevan Nair.

The festival paid tribute to Thalassery’s celebrated euphony manager K. Raghavan connected his 12th decease anniversary, with a commemorative solution presented by C. Ajoy. An exhibition, Kaalam; Mayachithrangal, honoured the literate contributions of Malayalam stalwart M.T. Vasudevan Nair.

The festival concluded with an unfastened forum for filmmakers, a treatment programme, and a philharmonic performance. Thalassery Municipality Chairperson K.M. Jamunarani presided implicit the inaugural ceremony, which saw information from section panchayat presidents, producers, and members of the Chalachitra Academy.
