Telangana Ministers willing to contribute 50% salary to clear dues to retired employees

Telangana Cabinet Ministers expressed willingness to lend 50% of their salaries, on with those of nationalist representatives, towards settling the dues to retired employees, if request be. This was among the decisions taken by the Cabinet connected Thursday (April 23, 2026) to wide ₹8,000 crore owed to the retired employees and ₹6,200 crore to regular employees successful 100 days.  

Stating that the erstwhile (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) government, which was successful powerfulness for 10 years, had left pending bills moving into thousands of crores, it said determination were nary arrears astatine the clip of Telangana formation. Besides expanding status age, status benefits were not paid which led to issues to pensioners and their families.
