Telangana HC suspends single judge order in Group-I exam; matter posted to October 15 for detailed hearing

Telangana High Court connected Wednesday (September 24, 2025) passed an interim absorption suspending the single justice bid which had acceptable speech the last marks list and the wide ranking database and ordered for re-evaluation of the reply scripts of the candidates of Group-I main exam. 

A seat of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice G.M. Mohiuddin passed the interim bid aft proceeding entreaty petitions filed by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) and immoderate of the ‘successful candidates’ of the Group-I main exam. The counsels for the candidates — who filed writ petitions seeking to cancel Group-I exam and secured the azygous justice bid mounting speech the marks database — requested the seat to bid for presumption quo. 

However, the seat led by the CJ declined to see their pleas and said the appointments and decisions of the TGPSC relating to Group-I exam would beryllium taxable to the ‘final outcome’ of the entreaty petitions. While Advocate General A. Sudarshan Reddy and elder counsel D. Prakash Reddy appeared for the appellants, elder counsel Rachna Reddy presented arguments connected behalf of the petitioners who sought cancellation of the exam. 

After proceeding contentions of the counsels of some the sides, the seat directed each of them to record written submissions by October 10. The substance was posted to October 15 for elaborate hearing.
