A delegation from the Telangana Farmers Commission connected Tuesday visited Sahyadri Farms and Sam Farms successful Nasik to survey large-scale workplace processing, Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) operations and sustainable cultivation practices.

The squad led by Commission president M. Kodanda Reddy inspected the 120-acre Sahyadri Farms field and the 20-acre Sam Farms unit, wherever each processing facilities for nutrient grown by subordinate farmers are located. During the visit, committee members toured aggregate processing units handling a wide scope of crops, including pomegranate, lemon, guava, grapes, saccharine potato, tomato, banana, mango, corn, French beans and pineapple.
