Telangana CM meets Nirmala and Dharmendra Pradhan, seeks support for Young India schools and IIM

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan successful New Delhi connected Tuesday (December 16, 2025) and sought their practice for constitution of Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and Young India Integrated Residential Schools (YIIRS).

During his gathering with Ms Nirmalaraman, helium sought the Centre’s practice for the constitution of Young India Integrated Residential Schools (YIIRS) successful Telangana. He informed her that the State authorities proposes to acceptable up 105 YIIRS, which would straight and indirectly supply prime acquisition to astir 4 lakh students.

He said an estimated ₹30,000 crore would beryllium required for the operation of these residential schools and different acquisition institutions. He requested the Union Finance Minister to exempt the loans raised for the task from the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) limits.

Later, the Chief Minister met Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and urged him to authorisation an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for Hyderabad. He informed the Minister that 200 acres of onshore required for the projected IIM had already been identified and that a transit field was acceptable to commencement classes immediately. Assuring afloat enactment from the State government, Mr. Revanth Reddy said each indispensable infrastructure would beryllium provided erstwhile the required approvals are granted.
