Team of experts assess work to widen road linking Arcot and Tindivanam

An adept squad of the Chennai-based Highways Research Station (HRS) of the State Highways Department assessed the prime of ongoing widening enactment of Arcot-Tindivanam Road (SH-05), a region of 96 km, adjacent Arcot municipality successful Ranipet connected Wednesday.

“Field level engineers tin good tune connected the ongoing roadworthy works based connected inputs fixed by the adept team. Around 80% of widening of the agelong (Arcot-Tindivanam Road) is completed,” S.S. Nitin, Assistant Engineer (AE), State Highways (Arcot), told The Hindu.

The squad assessed prime of earthy materials utilized for the work, full magnitude and width of the stretches that are undertaken for work, thickness of bitumen furniture and quantity of bluish metal.
