Four Assam and West Bengal-based organisations associated with beverage person urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to springiness beverage producers the state to take their mode of merchantability and not beryllium forced to merchantability via nationalist auction centres.

They said that the outgo of selling beverage done auction centres, mandated done orders issued successful February 2024 and October 2025, often exceeds the nett net borderline of beverage producers and threatens to marque the concern unviable.
