The Red Sanders’ Anti‑Smuggling Task Force (RSASTF) arrested 18 persons connected charges of smuggling and seized 16 logs, 2 cars, axes, and saw blades from their possession, connected the Proddatur-Jammalamadugu way successful Kadapa territory connected Saturday. Headed by L. Subbarayudu and SP P. Srinivas, the task unit squad conducted conveyance inspections connected the way connected Friday. While checking the vehicles astatine Peddasettipalli, the squad saw occupants of 2 cars trying to flee. However, the officials chased and caught them. Upon checking the vehicles, the task unit squad recovered the logs and different articles. The accused were identified arsenic residents of Tamil Nadu. Along with the seized goods, they were taken to the Tirupati RSASTF Police Station. Investigation is underway.
