Around 650 employees of the Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society (TANSACS) are yet to person their salaries for November this year.
In a letter, the Tamil Nadu AIDS Control All Employees Welfare Association said the unit moving nether TANSACS, arsenic counsellors and laboratory technicians successful Primary Health Centres, had inactive not received their salary.
As a result, they struggled to conscionable assorted expenses, including location rent, transportation, acquisition expenses for their children, and indebtedness instalments.
‘Take contiguous steps’
The relation wrote letters to the Chief Minister, Health Minister, Health Secretary, Project Director of TANSACS, Mission Director of National Health Mission (NHM), Tamil Nadu, and Labour Welfare Commissioner, requesting them to instrumentality contiguous steps for the disbursal of salaries.
Technical issues
Association members said that the archetypal of each period was the accustomed wage day. This time, they were told that the NHM had disbursed the wage funds to TANSACS, but the funds did not get deposited owed to method issues.
