T.N. government promotes six IAS officers of 2002 batch to Principal Secretary grade

The Tamil Nadu authorities connected Wednesday (December 24, 2025) ordered for the promotion of six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of 2002 batch to the Principal Secretary people with effect from January 1, 2026.

According to a authorities order, Archana Patnaik, Chief Electoral Officer; Sigy Thomas Vaidhyan, Commissioner, Disaster Management; C. Samayamoorthy, Secretary, Human Resources Management; M.S. Shanmugam, Secretary - II to Chief Minister; Reeta Harish Thakkar, Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation; and Jayashree Muralidharan, Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment were promoted to the Principal Secretary grade.
