The Tamil Nadu authorities has extended the prohibition connected the manufacture, processing, packaging, storage, transportation, distribution, and merchantability of mayonnaise prepared from earthy eggs for different twelvemonth from April 8 this year. It had initially imposed a one-year prohibition connected the condiment past April.
The notification by the Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration was issued nether applicable sections of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and the bid of the Commissioner of Food Safety of Tamil Nadu.
