T.N. Assembly election: EC orders State government to post new SPs for 4 districts, including Kancheepuram

The Election Commission of India (EC) has directed the Tamil Nadu authorities to station caller Superintendents of Police (SPs) for Kancheepuram, Perambalur, Tenkasi and Thanjavur districts.

In a communication, the ECI directed for posting G. Jawahar, IPS, arsenic the Kancheepuram SP, K. Prabakar, IPS, arsenic the Perambalur SP, G.S.A. Myilvaganan, IPS, arsenic the Tenkasi SP, and E. Sundaravathanam, IPS, arsenic the Thanjavur SP. “The directions of the Commission are to beryllium implemented with contiguous effect and a compliance study with respect to the joining of the supra officers indispensable beryllium sent by 11.00 a.m. connected March 28, 2026,” the connection said.
