Supreme Court refuses to interfere with anticipatory bail to Swami Avimukteshwaranand in POCSO case

The Supreme Court connected Friday (May 29, 2026) refused to interfere with the Allahabad High Court bid granting anticipatory bail to Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati successful a lawsuit registered against him nether the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

A seat of Justices M.M. Sundresh and N. Kotiswar Singh dismissed the plea of complainant Ashutosh Brahmachari. "Sorry, we are not going to interfere," the seat said.
