The Supreme Court connected Friday (May 29, 2026) allowed wrestler Vinesh Phogat to enactment successful the Asian Games 2026 enactment trials to beryllium held connected May 30.

The apex tribunal headed by Bench of Justices P.S. Narasimha and Alok Aradhe rejected the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) plea challenging the Delhi High Court’s order.

On May 28, 2026 the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) had moved the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court’s bid allowing grappler Vinesh Phogat to enactment successful the enactment trials for the Asian Games 2026.

On May 22, a Division Bench of the High Court had fixed its motion to the information of Vinesh Phogat successful the upcoming trials for the Asian Games, saying the WFI’s enactment argumentation was exclusionary for the deficiency of discretion to see an iconic subordinate similar her, who is returning from a maternity break.
