Students urged to focus on development of districts, villages

Former Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog, and founding-Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission, Ramanan Ramanathan, connected Tuesday underscored the request to look beyond metropolitan cities and power absorption to processing districts and villages.

Addressing the valedictory relation of a two-day national-level techno-cultural symposium ‘Dhanush- 2K26” organised astatine Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mr. Ramanathan informed the students that arsenic of December 2025, India had astir 800 districts which play a important relation successful governance. The programme coincided with the yearly time celebrations of the college.

Referring to the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) launched by NITI Aayog successful January 2018, helium explained that the purpose of this programme was to rapidly and efficaciously alteration 112 astir under-developed districts crossed the country. “The wide contours of the programme are Convergence (of Central and State schemes), Collaboration (of Central, State level Nodal Officers and District Collectors), and Competition among districts done monthly delta ranking, each driven by a wide movement. He advised the students to usage their cognition and skills to make districts and villages. 

College main Ravi Kadiyala informed that implicit 4,400 students had registered their information for the event. He said each the participants were fixed certificates, portion winners were fixed prizes.
