A pupil squad from Women’s Engineering College, Puducherry has been selected to enactment successful the expansive finale of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025 astatine Manipal University successful Jaipur from December 8 to 12.
Organised by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Smart India Hackathon provides a nationalist level for students to make innovative, technology-driven solutions to real-life occupation statements posed by assorted Ministries, Departments, and reputed organisations.
According to a property release, the six-member squad from Women’s Engineering College, Puducherry, submitted an innovative solution for the occupation connection fixed by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, leveraging precocious exertion and India’s NavIC products.
Out of 190 submissions received from crossed India, lone 5 teams were selected for the Grand Finale. The squad from Puducherry volition enactment continuously during the Finale to make functional prototypes nether adept guidance, enhancing their vulnerability to precocious technologies and competitory problem-solving.
