Union Minister of State for Fisheries George Kurian connected Saturday (October 18) said that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had assured him that steps would beryllium taken soon to commencement the operation of the Nedumbassery airdrome railway station.
In a communication, Mr. Kurian recalled that the Railway Minister had suggested the determination of the presumption to officials during the window-trailing inspection held past year. Mr. Kurian had accompanied Mr. Vaishnaw during the tract visit, it said.
The connection claimed that Mr. Vaishnaw had informed that further coaches would beryllium sanctioned for MEMU trains from November onwards to assistance commuters.
