The State has a work to support the unfortunate by appointing businesslike Government Pleaders (GPs)/ instrumentality officers, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has said.

It is profoundly disturbing to enactment that the State appears to beryllium appointing GPs/ Public Prosecutors/ instrumentality officers not connected merit, but connected the ground of their allegiance to the ruling dispensation, the tribunal has said.
