In a statement, Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabakaran said the works are being taken up to fortify roadworthy infrastructure crossed the East, West, North, South and Central zones of the Corporation for nationalist use.
He recalled that the Chief Minister had earlier sanctioned ₹200 crore for the renewal of 3,456 damaged and earthen roads, spanning astir 503.67 km, wrong the Corporation limits.
